in as few words as possible

I’m married and the father of two crazy boys: mini-me and the line-backer. I currently work as a software engineer for MedAssets, a medium-sized company that provides solutions for the healthcare industry.  I’ve been doing web development since 1998 and continue to enjoy this far more than other software applications. I like to explore new things and talk about those few gems that I find and thus this blog. But it irritates me to the core to just talk about stuff…I love to build things and try to find quick ways to start applying the things that I’ve learned. I’m currently working with .net but in my spare time (what little of that I actually have) I’m building a software product with Ruby on Rails.

The older I get the more I realize that I know very little and there will always be a better way to do certain things.  All in all, I enjoy learning and take pride in the work that I do.
